oh mr. sun, sun, mr. golden sun....

"Rain, rain go away, come again another day!"

Oh memories of "summer" in Ontario this year. I think it rained every other day this summer...unless it was a weekend, in which case it rained without the day of rest in between! This pattern of wacky weather trained us to catch the sun while it was out! I am still thinking this way! In Cairo, every hour that I am inside I look out the window and think "It's sunny today! Why aren't we outside?!". This is the thing about Egypt...it is ALWAYS sunny here! I hope I continue to appreciate this.....because it seems to be taken for granted in this far away land of air conditioning :)

Thank you Egypt for the summer I never had!
