I have this problem called being cold most of the time, including ridiculously absurd times (i.e. lifeguarding in the sun). I HATE being cold and I know my friends and family HATE me being cold to….haha, I know I complain excessively! So….one freezing cold day, it may have been last July, I invented the most brilliant creation of all time! The Invisible Perma-Blanky, abbreviated as IPB for those too embarrassed to speak of the real thing! The IPB is quite explanatory. It is a permanent blanket worn all the time, yet it is invisible to others! The price of the original IPB (launched in 2007) is a reflection of my sympathy for those that say “brrrrrrr”. Using your imagination ONLY, you can make yourself warm and happy in one quick thought…and no one else has to see the solution! BRILLIANT. I suppose one day the company (I made an IPB company with my siblings), could start to market PB’s that aren’t invisible. My one partner is an exceptional artist and I know she’s dying to create some wonderful colour schemes and patterns! (Doodle – you must at least force a smile here…)
My IPB came with me to Egypt, just in case I got cold. I must admit that I have used it a time or two (on the plane, in air conditioned areas, etc), but I have not required it outside!!! This is, yet again, another first for me! In Cairo, it is like the entire city is an IPB! Every time I step outside from a chilly indoors (AC is always blasted here!), I feel like the whole city is giving me a big, warm HUG! Just think…it’s only an ocean away!
