_ _ _ _ _ _ _ !

(I had a title for this one. But I think there is a quota for the word I had in mind…and I’m getting pretty darn close to the limit!)

Hmmmm…..goodbyes. I hate them! People try to hide from the word….saying it is simply a “so long” or “see you soon”. But, no matter how you try to rephrase the term, it is STILL a goodbye. Especially when you are leaving for more than a weekend!

I have said several goodbyes so far. Each is equally difficult in the moment, but I find that my recovery time is getting quicker and quicker as the farewell’s continue! HOORAY! I’m hoping this trend continues tonight and tomorrow because I have some serious “see ya later’s” to do! (Okay, so I do it too. It’s not REALLY goodbye….right?!).

p.s. Where did the word “good - bye” come from anyways?! Bye’s are never, ever enjoyable!
