An Unexpected T.I.E.

My usual T.I.E.'s are negative. Well - here is one HEK of a positive T.I.E. for you:

Tonight I decided that I needed the book, The Lorax, for environmental studies tomorrow. Jokingly I thought, "maybe I could get it delivered to my apartment tonight." Haha - you may laugh. However, you can get ANYTHING delivered in Egypt (I think I have told you)........and so my idea transformed from a joke into an actual delivery attempt!

Well, ladies and gentlemen, my attempt was a HUGE success! It is now 11:38 p.m. and my book was delivered to my door FIFTEEN minutes ago! It has been placed in my back pack for storytime with the Grade 12's tomorrow! PURE MAGIC! An optimistic T.I.E. is exactly what I needed to settle back into Cairo mode :)

p.s. Santorini was WONDERFUL! I will tell you more once my progress reports are finished!
