According to the smiles I saw this morning, happiness is:
* playing soccer all weekend!
* watching a thunderstorm for the first time
* long drives in Cairo traffic to find a swimming pool that doesn't exist
* declaring a new favourite song
* playing with a puppy
* hanging out with grandpa
* finding a jellyfish on the beach
* making a cheesecake with mom
* learning to play tennis
* drinking fresh lemonade at Beano's Cafe
* discovering the joy of a hoola hoop
* sitting in a broken down car.......in 40 degree weather......with a good friend...and flies
* explaining the anatomy of the heart while watching Grey's Anatomy with your family
* sleeping in!
Today was a definite "I love teaching" day. My students are brilliant, don't you think?!
(Stop pursuing it..........happiness is RIGHT BEFORE YOUR EYES!)
