How Big is the World?

If you are lucky enough to have a Chapters near you (p.s. I'm jealous if this is the case!), I recommend a chai tea latte and a visit to the children's section of the store!  In this section, you will find my favourite new piece of literature:  "How Big Is The World?" written by Britta Teckentrup.  Perhaps you won't adore the story in the same way I do......but if it was an automatic purchase for me, it must AT LEAST be appealing to others  :)

In short, the story follows Little Mole as he goes on a journey to discover the size of the world.  He encounters many nice creatures along the way, who lead him from near to far in search of an answer.  A vast desert, a colourful sea and a big city are included in his adventure, which ends as Little Mole begins to miss his family.  On his arrival home, a hug from his Dad concludes that the world is only as big as you want it to be!
