I am laying in bed WIDE AWAKE with one un-bedtime-like thought in my mind:
Sometimes, a person isn’t who you thought they were. This is disappointing.
Other times, a person is exactly who you thought they were. This can be more disappointing.
I realize this is coming from a hopeful perspective…but, really….how do you learn who to believe and who to question? Should you trust right away or make people earn it? At what point do you start to build a wall….the one that protects you from disappointment? Hmmmmmm……I’ll sleep on it.
(My guilt tells me to tell you, sorry for ending on a bad note. I will try to reverse the rant with another thought: I COME HOME IN ONE WEEK! I CAN’T WAIT!).
